Step 1. Convene an Environmental Justice Study Group

• Resolution of Witness Free from Plastic Pollution, a resolution prepared by the New Hampshire Environmental Justice Team of the UCC Conference.

• Talk with leaders of study groups your faith community already has in place, e.g., a Racial Equity Study Group or Green Team

• Consider forming a new group, making a presentation, planning an event

Step 2. Shift Purchase Policies Toward Non-plastic Alternatives

• Interview leaders that purchase supplies for church events

• Offer information on vendors other New Hampshire organizations, schools, or restaurants use
